We are writing on behalf of the Bridgehampton Lions Club to express our heartfelt gratitude to The Press for its coverage and to everyone who once again helped make the 25th annual Pumpkin Carving Contest a special evening.
There was a great turnout and a wonderful array of carved pumpkins that surely challenged the judges who picked the winners.
We want to thank the Bridgehampton High School Marimba Band for its uplifting performance, as well as Liz Joyce of Goat on a Boat Puppet Theater for thrilling the children with her cast of characters.
We also would like to express our gratitude to the Milk Pail for donating cider and donuts, to Tapovana for providing pumpkin lentil soup, and to The Pike for bringing its food truck.
Lastly, we extend our thanks to the over 100 local businesses who sponsored the event with their financial donations. Their generosity and strong sense of community allow the Lions to continue making a real difference in the lives of those in need.
