Alberta McAree Of Sag Harbor Dies November 28

Alberta McAree, retired registered nurse and life-long resident of Sag Harbor, died unexpectedly on November 28 at Southampton Hospital. She was 64.

She was born in Southampton on September 24, 1957, and was the daughter to the late Joseph and Ethel McAree.

McAree graduated from Pierson High School and went to Albany Memorial School of Nursing. She worked at Southampton Hospital as a charged registered nurse for 38 years before retiring.

Alberta will never be forgotten and is loved by many, her family said.

She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Joseph McAree Jr. She is survived by her daughter Anna McAree, Charles Albrecht of Sag Harbor; her sister Elaine Aluisio; brother Michael McAree; nephews Kenny Aluisio, Michael McAree, Jay Aluisio, Bradley Rozzi, Johnathon Schroll, Turner Schroll; and nieces Jessica McMahon, Christine Mazzeo, and Brianne Hall.

Funeral services was held on December 4.

Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org).
