Movie and a Dinner Event Benefits Fourth of July Parade

In honor of Veterans Day, the Southampton Playhouse is partnering with Shippy’s Restaurant for a special “Movie & A Dinner” fundraising event to benefit the Southampton 4th of July Parade Committee and its 2026 parade in Southampton Village. The event features a screening of the Academy Award-winning film “Glory,” starring Matthew Broderick, Denzel Washington, and Morgan Freeman, followed by a Zoom audience Q&A with the film’s director, Edward Zwick. An evening of Halloween fun awaits at LTV Studios with its Vampire Masquerade on Thursday, October 30, at 7 p.m. Adults and teens age 13 and up are invited to attend in costume for a screening of the film “Night” followed by a DJ dance party.
