Andrew L. Nichols of San Antonio, Texas and formerly of Southampton died on November 18 in San Antonio. He was 53.

Born in Southampton, he was a graduate of Long Island University in Southampton and Bryant and Stratton College in Syracuse.

He worked as an accountant for many years.

In November, 2009 he graduated from The American Academy of Professional Coders and worked as a certified Professional Coder (CDC) until his death.

He is survived by his mother; sister; brother; and many relatives and friends.
