Angelina A. Ross Of Sagaponack Dies September 30

Angelina A. Ross of Sagaponack died at the Kanas Center for Hospice Care on Quiogue on September 30. She was 73.

Born May 21, 1943, she attended Pierson High School and, after graduation, the Wilfred Beauty Academy. She was a hairdresser at Robert Abbott salon in Southampton. She was a bus driver and then an office assistant at McCoy Bus company for 31 years, while also working in catering.

An accomplished bowler, she was a league member at East Hampton Bowl and participated in many tournaments. Her team was the Division II Champion in 2010 at the U.S. Women’s Bowling Tournament.

Ms. Ross also enjoyed traveling, especially with her sister, Joanne, to Disney World, Turks and Caicos, cruising the Caribbean, and visiting family in Massachusetts. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Angelina Mazzeo, and a son, Richard, she is survived by her children, Donna Ross Levy and husband Larry or Coram; siblings, Anthony Mazzeo and wife Judy of Minnesota, Vincent Mazzeo and wife Robin of Sag Harbor, and Joanne Kelly and husband James of Sagaponack; four grandchildren, Jessica and Brandon Levy, and John Patrick and Grace Ross; and eight nieces and nephews.

A funeral service took place at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church in Bridgehampton on October 4, followed by burial at Edgewood Cemetery in Bridgehampton. Arrangements were under the direction of Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor.
