Angelina Mazzeo-Roll of Sag Harbor died on September 21 at Southampton Hospital. She was 89.
Born January 28, 1919, in Riverhead to Anna Benko and James V. DeCristofaro, she graduated from Riverhead High School in 1938.
A housewife, she was a member of the Columbiettes and the St. Andrew’s Altar Society.
She is survived by two daughters, Angela Ross and Joanne Kelly, both of Sagaponack; two sons, Vincent Mazzeo of Sag Harbor and Anthony Mazzeo of Minnesota; five granddaughters, Donna Ross Levy, Cynthia Lyons Williams, Lauryn Mazzeo, Theresa Mazzeo Hmielenski, and Carol Mazzeo Pulchino; four grandsons, Michael Lyons, Nicholas Mazzeo, William Mazzeo and David Mazzeo; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Anthony Mazzeo, in 1977, her second husband, John Roll, in 1992, a brother, Joseph DeCristofaro; and a grandson, Richard Ross.
The family received visitors at the Yardley & Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor on September 23. A mass was celebrated on September 24 at St. Andrew’s Church, followed by interment at the church cemetery.
