Angelo J. Gaetano of Hampton Bays died peacefully on March 16. He was 98.

He was born in Manhattan on September 1, 1925, to Frances and George Gaetano.

He loved his country, and proudly served in the United States Navy from 1943-1945 during World War II.

He was an avid Yankees fan, and loved music and loved to sing.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, his family said.

He is survived by his son, George Gaetano of St. Paul, Minnesota; his daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Joe Hayward of Southampton; his three grandsons, Michael, Nicholas and Christopher; and five great-grandchildren.
