Ann Kostenick Dies At 90

Ann Kostenick

Ann Kostenick of Westhampton died at Cedar Lodge Nursing Home in Center Moriches on Tuesday, August 30. She was 90.

Born January 11, 1921, she was the daughter of Adam and Frances Novick. On June 20, 1941, she married William Kostenick, who predeceased her in 1964.

Ms. Kostenick was a longtime employee of the Hazeltine Corporation, a former active member of the Westhampton Senior Citizens Club and a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Quiogue.

She was a loyal and loving wife, mother, grandmother and 
friend and leaves a legacy of 
love in those left behind, family said.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Flebotte of Pennsylvania and John “Jack” Kostenick and his wife Donna of Manorville; granchildren, Stacie Washell and her husband Edward of Pennsylvania and William D. Howell III and his wife Joanna of Horsham, England; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Helen Quatroche and her husband Morley, Benjamin Novick and Joseph Novick and his wife Mary Jane; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Josephine Ferris Brown and brothers, John, Anthony and Adam Jr.

A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 2, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Interment followed at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches.
