Ann Marie Downs Dies At 66

Ann Marie Downs

Ann Marie Downs, formerly of Hampton Bays, died in Florida on Tuesday, January 10. She was 66.

She is survived by her husband, Richard “Buzz” Downs of Florida; children, Brian S. Downs of Hampton Bays and Sean 
D. Downs of Florida; a brother, John Heisman of Florida; and three granddaughters, Samantha Downs, Emma Downs and Olivia Downs all of Hampton Bays. She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert and Joseph Utch.

Visitation will take place on Friday, January 27, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton. On Saturday, January 28, a 
funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Roman Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the church’s cemetery, also in 
Southampton.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was pulled over after being observed speeding and failing to maintain his lane on Montauk Highway, police said.
