Anne Bucalo of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, died on Monday, September 1. She was 81.
Mrs. Bucalo was born in Brooklyn on November 20, 1926, to John and Antoinette Aragona. She graduated with honors from Hunter College and pursued a teaching career in New York City.
She raised three children and moved to Pompano Beach, then later relocated to Lauderdale-By-The-Sea in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
She was an active member of the Church of St. Gabriel and The Assumption Church of Fort Lauderdale. She was also a member of the board of directors of her condominium association.
Mrs. Bucalo is survived by two sons, Brian and Randy; a daughter, Diane of Southampton; and a brother, Joseph. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Bucalo.
