Registration is open for Our Fabulous Variety Show performing arts classes in East Hampton. OFVS offers performing arts opportunities for all ages including classes in tap dance, jazz dance, ballet, lyrical + contemporary, Irish step, hip hop, acting and improv, and musical theater styles. Parrish Received Grant To Support and Expand Outreach to Underserved Groups

The Parrish Art Museum announced that it is the recipient of a $198,000 grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. With the grant the museum will evaluate, improve, and expand Access Parrish, an existing gallery experience and art-making program that serves individuals with special needs, including cognitive diverse individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, individuals on the autism spectrum, people with physical disabilities, and people who have experienced severe trauma. Access Parrish uses experiential learning opportunities to make the Parrish accessible to underserved, under-invited, vulnerable, marginalized and isolated populations. Choral Society Announces Auditions

The Choral Society of the Hamptons will hold auditions for all singing parts in late September and early October for singers interested in joining the group prior to the Choral Society’s upcoming concert on Sunday, December 3. East End Hospice Earns Top Rating

East End Hospice received a 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in its 2023 Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Hospice Survey released August 30. According to a press release, East End Hospice is the only hospice on Long Island to receive a 5 out of 5 stars rating. Only 11 percent of the more than 5,500 hospices nationwide received 5-stars. The CAHPS Hospice Survey assesses the experience of hospice patients and caregivers. LWV to Hold Information Program on Town Energy Programs

The League of Women Voters of the Hamptons, Shelter Island and North Fork will hold a public information program on Southampton and East Hampton town energy issues on Monday, September 18, at 7 p.m. at Bridgehampton’s Hampton Library, 2478 Main Street. Volunteers Needed for Hamptons Marathon

The Hamptons Marathan & Half will run through Southampton Village on Saturday, September 23. The course has views of the Atlantic Ocean, Shinnecock Bay and Coopers Beach and has been named a bucket list race by Runner’s World.
