Barbara A. Price Of East Quogue Dies June 20

Barbara A. Price of East Quogue died on June 20 at the Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, after a long illness. She was 77 and retired nurse for East End Hospice.

Ms. Price is survived by her children, Kenneth Price of California, David E. Price, Carol A. Price and Steven Price, all of East Quogue; six grandchildren, Amy, Tiffany, Keri, Jessica, James and Robyn; and 11 great-grandchildren, Hunter, Lochlyn, Kilye, Brody, Kenneth, Adin, Joseph, George, Colin, Justin and Danialle. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Allan Price.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. A funeral took place at the funeral home on June 24, with the Reverend John Kenreich of Christ Our Savious Lutheran Church of Hampton Bays officiating. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery in East Quogue.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was pulled over after being observed speeding and failing to maintain his lane on Montauk Highway, police said. A subsequent investigation revealed he was intoxicated, with a breath test revealing a blood alcohol level of .18, according to police. He was held for morning arraignment and then released.
