So many people in North Sea have expressed their distress about the 120 condo units and 250 parking spaces that Thomas R. Stachecki wants to build on property in North Sea. Mr. Stachecki could become a “hero” if he decided on any one of these three solutions:
1. Decide to build single-family homes on your property, keeping with the integrity of the area.
2. Sell to a tree farmer or organic gardener.
Lastly, the best option: 3. Donate your land to the Peconic Land Trust or The Nature Conservancy. What an amazing act of selflessness this would be to the community you espouse to love. What a gift to the people and wildlife of North Sea.
You would be leaving a legacy of bucolic wonder rather than a monstrosity of cement and tarmac. Please consider it. Your friends and neighbors would be forever grateful. You would be leaving an everlasting gift in perpetuity.
Be a “hero.”
