Autism Awareness Panel To Be Hosted by Child Care Center

The Bridgehampton Child Care and Recreational Center, in partnership with Suffolk County Department of Minorities Affairs, Latina Sisters, The Witness Project and Hudson Helping Hands, will present an Autism Awareness Panel on Wednesday, June 18, at the center, 551 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike. Arts & Crafts Fair Coming T to Sag Harbor

The Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Father’s Day Arts & Crafts Fair on June 14 and 15 at Marine Park on Bay Street. The hours are 9 to 5 p.m. both days. The fair will include more than 61 vendors showcasing their work. Free Puppet Shows at Mashashimuet Park

A free puppet show series, with the Goat on a Boat Puppet Theatre, will be held on Saturdays in June at Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor, starting June 7. For the 23rd year in a row, Fighting Chance is awarding its Medal of Honor to an unsung hero in the War Against Cancer. At its annual Summer Benefit on June 14, this year’s award will be given to Bryan Daparma, the owner of Hometown Taxi. On the East End, Fighting Chance is able to offer taxi rides that are free of charge to local cancer patients traveling to and from cancer treatments, including chemo, radiation, and diagnostic testing, thanks to the philanthropy of Daparma.
