Due to staffing challenges coming from multiple directions, South Ferry may have difficulty staffing enough boats at times between now and Labor Day.
Travelers should anticipate up to 20-to-30-minute delays during commuter rush hours and perhaps at other times during weekdays and on weekends.
We will do the very best we can to provide the service you pay for and deserve. Our crews will be working hard to get you across the channel safely and efficiently.
We are accepting applications for one year-round, part-time office worker and two year-round, part-time deckhand/pursers. Interested applicants may get further information and an application by calling (631) 749-1200.
My apologies in advance for any inconvenience between now and Labor Day. Thank you.
