Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Southampton Town Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying and finding a man who burglarized a Flanders Deli in February.
His image was captured on surveillance cameras. He appears to be between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall and heavyset. Officials say he may be Hispanic. In the image, he is wearing a light colored hoodie, gray pants and a pink hat.
On February 23, at approximately 2 a.m., he threw a large stone through the front window of Hampton Deli, located at 887 Flanders Road. Once inside, he took cigarettes and beer, then fled the area on foot.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Submit an anonymous tip to the agency by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting SCPD and your message to CRIMES or emailing p3tips.com. All calls, emails, and texts are kept confidential, police said.
