As business owners and entrepreneurs in Southampton Village, we are writing to express our support for Rob Coburn as village trustee.

We know the challenges all business owners face, and the special challenges posed by a seasonal village. We also know that no one person can solve those, nor are there any quick and easy solutions.

This is why it is critical to have leaders who will listen, ask the right questions, and then honestly assess the challenges and potential solutions. Leaders with imagination and effective communication skills, who bring a spirit of common-purpose and public/private partnership to making our village vibrant.

We believe Rob is that type of leader. He is a listener, a believer in teamwork and a problem-solver. As a full-time resident, Rob is also a regular customer to many of us, and a broad champion of our local economy. That means a lot to us.
