Benarda Kolpak Of Speonk Dies June 5

Bernarda Kolpak of Speonk died on June 5 in Riverhead, She was 86.

Ms. Kolpak was born in Terebejno, Poland, to Michal and Urszula Najdzion. She was a devoted wife to Michal, who predeceased her in 2004; and mother to Richard M. Kolpak, who also predeceased her. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Barbara Kolpak; grandchildren, Adrianne Kolpak and husband David Neylon and Meredith Kolpak and husband Dan Curran; and great-grandchild, Reid Richard Curran; and a sister, Jadzia Bondarowicz. She was predeceased by two brothers, John Najdzion and Joseph Najdzion.

Visitation was at the Follett and Werner Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach. A funeral was held on June 8 at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Centereach, followed by burial at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches.
