Beth P. Gruebel dies at 42

Beth P. Gruebel of East Quogue died from injuries sustained in a car accident on February 9. She was 42.

Mrs. Gruebel was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband William Gruebel of East Meadow; a son, William Robert Gruebel; and a daughter, Samantha Beth Gruebel, both of East Quogue; a brother, Matthew F. Camarasana of Island Park; and her parents, Frank and Patricia Camarasana of East Quogue.

The family received visitors on February 14 at Follett and Werner Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach, where Pastor John Kenreich of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Hampton Bays officiated at funeral services the same day.

Interment of ashes followed on February 15 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was pulled over after being observed speeding and failing to maintain his lane on Montauk Highway, police said.
