“Bill” Williams of East Quogue died on April 10, 2018, at the Kanas Center for Hopsice Care on Quiogue. He was 81.
Mr. Williams was a avid fisherman and a longtime charter boat captain both on his own boat “MY III SONS,” as well as on “REEL ACTION” out of Oakland’s Marina in Hampton Bays. He was out fishing even into his 80s and loved to talk about his favorite sport. His sons and grandchildren inherited his love for the sport and the mutual love of fishing created a deep family bond.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pat; three sons and their wives; Jim and Carol of Southampton, Chris and Joanne of Hampton Bays, Tom and Jennifer of Maine; and grandchildren Quint, Allyson, Ivy, Sam and Ranger Williams and Kim Gatz. He is also survived by his sister, Dawn Holland of Florida.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the R.J. O’Shea Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. A funeral took place at the Church of St. Rosalie on April 14.
