‘Bim’ Webb
Burton Mallory Webb II, known as Bim, died of cancer at his home in Free Union, Virginia on Saturday, August 11. He was 61.
Born on May 8, 1950, to Thomas Dudley Webb II and Verity Voight O’Brien, he was a fourth generation summer resident of Remsenburg. He graduated from Montclair Academy in New Jersey and lived in Charlottesville, Virginia for many years.
Mr. Webb is survived by his wife, Pat Dowd; children, Sarah, Mallory and Amelia “Mimi”; siblings, Peter Webb, David Webb and Betsy Rowe; his relatives, the Calvillos, Conklins, Danforths, Rowes, Voights and Webbs; the Ewing family and many friends and admirers.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 28, at the Webb-Dowd Home in Free Union, Virginia.
