Blanche C. Bragoli Of Westhamtpon Beach Dies August 9

Blanche C. Bragoli of Westhampton Beach, formerly of Hampton Bays, died at home on August 9. She was 87.

Ms. Bragoli was a nurse and worked for Suffolk County Health Services. After retiring, she stayed busy with her 24 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was an active volunteer in the community, giving time to the Dominican Sisters, the Thrift Store, the Blood Center of New York and the Church of the Immaculate Conception.

She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, John Sr. She is survived by 10 children, John Jr. and wife Patricia of Brookhaven, Andrew and wife Mary of Florida, Eugene and wife Theresa of Wilmington, Liz Karpin of Hampton Bays, Steve and wife Diane of Miller Place, Daniel of Westbury, James and wife Gloria of Franklin Square, Monica Molloy and husband Jack of Franklin Square, Christopher of Hampton Bays and Kenneth of Riverside.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Follet and Werner Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach. A funeral Mass was held at the Church of the Immaculate Conception on August 13, followed by burial at St. John’s Cemetery in Riverhead.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was pulled over after being observed speeding and failing to maintain his lane on Montauk Highway, police said.
