My name is Max Rohn, and I’m running for North Haven Village trustee in the election on June 17. If you’ve driven through North Haven lately, you’ve likely seen the lawn signs — there are three candidates running for two seats, and I hope to earn your vote.
A bit about me: I’ve lived in North Haven full time for the past eight years with my wife, Joey, and our two children, Evie (9) and Nell (7). I’ve been the CEO of Wölffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack for 12 years, helping to grow this outstanding business while being an engaged neighbor, sustainable farmer, and an active supporter of our local community.
North Haven is my home, and I love it as it is. But the world changes around us, and it will take thoughtful work to help preserve what makes our village special. This would be my first time serving in public office — and I believe that is a strength. I bring fresh thinking, a young family’s perspective, and professional experience in leadership, teamwork and execution.
Voting for me is a vote for building a team of hardworking, collaborative people who get things done.
If elected, I will focus on moving forward key priorities for the village: improving cell coverage through small tower technology, supporting efforts to reduce tick populations, helping to advance smart dredging to restore the health of our waterways, and applying a balanced and thoughtful approach to zoning and housing decisions.
We already have a fantastic team serving North Haven, and I’m committed to making that team even stronger. While we may not always agree on every issue, I will bring a collaborative and results-focused mindset to the work ahead. I believe good decisions come from respectful dialogue and shared goals — and that’s exactly how I would approach serving on the board.
I hope to earn your support on June 17. Voting is at Village Hall from noon to 9 p.m.
