Dragon Hemp Apothecary, based in Sag Harbor, has signed on for the third year as a sponsor of the Hamptons International Film Festival. In line with its dedication to fostering community engagement and environmental awareness, the brand sponsors the Air, Land, and Sea Signature Program, showcasing films that spotlight environmental issues both globally and locally.

This year at the festival, Dragon Hemp seeks to promote the importance of wellness through sleep by providing exclusive access to the newest addition to its Rest & Restoration Collection — Sleep Gummies+. Dragon Hemp will host an interactive pop-up at the annual fundraiser on October 9 in support of South Fork Sea Farmers (SF²) and its mission to promote marine stewardship.

This event will feature a silent auction and offer attendees samplings of their plant-based wellness products. Dragon Hemp’s new Sleep Gummies+ combines CBD, CBN and 2.5 mg THC and stands out for its quality, consistency, and effectiveness. Guests can also learn secrets to better sleep naturally with a personalized sleep analysis. The pop-up showcases Dragon Hemp’s commitment to holistic health, local ecoculture, and empowering individuals along their wellness journey.

As part of this year’s sponsorship, HIFF will be screening Dragon Hemp’s “Surf and Sea”- inspired commercial ahead of projects screening in the section. This 30-second spot highlights the brand’s mission to support holistic wellness while promoting environmental awareness, through a local lens, featuring local surfer and fellow entrepreneur Shane Dyckman, and directed by documentarian Jasper Rischen.

“We’re honored to have the rare opportunity to create a spot showcasing the Hamptons, Dragon Hemp’s birthplace,” noted Kevin Menard, founder of Dragon Hemp Apothecary, in a press release.

The spot will also be the opener across the “Views of Long Island” Signature Program.

“It is the continued support from partners like Kevin and Dragon Hemp that inspires us to find new ways to connect our community of filmmakers and enthusiasts with local businesses that share our passion for environmental awareness. We’re thrilled to have Dragon Hemp with us again this year,” noted Anne Chaisson, executive director, Hamptons International Film Festival, in a press release.

“As a brand that takes seriously the craft of alchemy in creating exceptional experiences, we are excited to be a more dynamic and impactful part of the festival this year. We are proud of the responsibility we have in participating in and supporting more global conversations around the health and wellness of nature, in all its forms,” noted Menard.

The 32nd annual Hamptons International Film Festival runs October 4-14.
