What a difference a week makes. Our Democrat Party, true to its mission of saving democracy, has chosen to completely bypass voters from its own party in making Vice President Kamala Harris the new nominee for president.

In case you missed it, the Dem elites conspired to first force their president out of the election and then to anoint Ms. Harris in spite of the unimportant fact that 14 million primary Democrats had previously chosen Joe Biden as their standard-bearer. So much for saving democracy for the peeps.

One can only wonder what Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer had over Biden to make him bend the knee. Biden, in the spirit of transparency, told us nothing in his abdication address. Not a word about his health; his idiot press secretary stated that he was fully capable of serving another term. Honestly, can you believe anything these people say?

The left-wing media has already begun to spin the role Harris did or didn’t have in executing border policy. The new spin they are putting out is that Ms. Harris was not the “border czar.”

It is hard to identify policy initiatives Harris can share as her own. Ms. Harris, when directly confronted with a serious question about policy, has been vacuous and even flippant and rarely definitive.

Harris, a concession to Representative James Clyburn, who delivered South Carolina, saving the candidacy of Joe Biden in 2019, has been absent any significant accomplishment as vice president. Like her boss and party, she has made victimhood and fear the catalyst of their politics. Racism, sexism, wokeness, equity and a bipolar view of law enforcement are intrinsically woven into her party’s positions. Race and gender will top the list from which she will launch her grievance candidacy. As the senator from California, her progressive record spoke for itself.

She is a coastal elitist with every fiber of her being. Her strong suit will no doubt be reproductive rights. Like all her Democrat initiatives, she will strive to make the federal government the last word on social issues. Mandating a federal firearm buyback and abortion standard will extend the subjugation of American freedoms to a Washington bureaucracy intent on intruding in more and more of your life. Harris will continue to grow the green environmental agenda that has been ineffectual in accomplishing any improvement in our environment.

I personally shudder at the thought of a President Harris as the leader of the free world or as commander-in-chief of our nation in harm’s way. There is nothing in her make-up to suggest we are safe in her hands.

Of course, many of us don’t believe Joe Biden was actually running the government, either.
