Carl T. Greene of Southampton died on June 29, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 67.
Born on May 16, 1956, in Southampton, he was well known within the Southampton community for his authenticity and straight talk, according to his family. He was as quick to share a beer as he was to yell at an umpire, they said.
He often reminded his relatives and friends alike to take it slow and enjoy life. He enjoyed all that Southampton had to offer, from fishing and crabbing in the local waterways to playing softball with his friends.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, his family said.
He was predeceased by his sister Lynn Milikin. He is survived by his brothers, Mark Greene and Paul Greene; and his sisters Holly Charles, Dawn Kincaid and Beth Burke; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
