She was predeceased by her husband and Hampton Bays High School sweetheart, Walter; and her infant daughter Merry Lee. She is survived by her three children, Sherry Lane of Hampton Bays, Dr. Kerry J. Lane and wife Victoria of Hampton Bays, and Noel Lane and his wife Robin of North Babylon and Hampton Bays; her grandchildren Walter Alex Lane and Kristina Lane; and step-grandchildren, Rebecca Sadowski, Brian Downs and Christopher Downs.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Rosalie Roman Catholic Church. Interment took place at Sacred Heart cemetery in Southampton.
