Carolyn Joan Munaco Of Hampton Bays Dies October 23

Carolyn Joan Munaco of Hampton Bays died at the Kanas Center for Hospice Care on October 23, 2017. She was 76.

Survivors said she enjoyed family gatherings, loving her grandchildren, being “Mom” to so many Hampton Bays Schools students, gardening, and beach days.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Peter Munaco, whom she married in Brooklyn on November 11, 1961; her children, Philip Munaco, Anthony Munaco, Michelle Girardin, Carolyn Munaco; and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Fisher, Jenna, Dorian, Mya, Ellie and Lindsey. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Vincent and Connie Devino; a brother, Vincent Devino; and a sister, Loretta Troiani.

An open house will held at her daughter’s home in Hampton Bays on Saturday, October 28, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to the Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Southampton Hospital, The Kanas Center for Hospice Care or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
