Catherine Fawcett of Southampton died at home on February 16, 2017, from Alzheimer’s. She was 86.
Born in Scotland, she and her husband, Kenneth, and their daughter, Phyllis, emigrated to the United States in 1958.
She was predeceased by her husband; sisters, Vina Walker and Jean Martin; brothers, Robert Anderson and John Anderson; and grandson Sean Krzyzewski.
She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Childers of Southampton; grandson Michael; and great-grandson Joshua Childers of Hayward, California; Dawn Ruiz and her son, Nicholas Ruiz, who were like a second daughter and grandson to her, of Southampton; son Ian Fawcett and wife Regina; and grandchildren, Kenneth and Kelsie of Poughquag, New York; and many nephews and nieces.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
