Charles Kenneth Jackson Of Hampton Bays Dies February 3

Charles Kenneth Jackson of Hampton Bays died on February 3, 2017. He was 88.

The son of the late Raymond Stewart Jackson and Amy May Foster, Mr. Jackson and his brother, Gordon, were partners in Jackson’s Marina in Hampton Bays.

Predeceased by his wife, ­Theresa M. Zarro; and his son, Kenneth W. Jackson; he is survived by his children, ­Beverly Crean and husband Paul of Florida, Deborah Jackson, and Frank Jackson, all of Hampton Bays; a brother, Gordon ­Jackson and wife Edith of Hampton Bays; grandchildren, Beverly, Sean, Meghan, Kathryn, Ryan, Kyle, Brandon, Alexander, ­Austin, Riley and Morgan; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation was February 7 at Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. Cremation followed at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s ­Research Hospital, P.O. Box 100, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was pulled over after being observed speeding and failing to maintain his lane on Montauk Highway, police said.
