Charlotte Zaweski
Charlotte Zaweski of Jamesport died at her home on May 18. She was 80.
Ms. Zaweski was born in Mattituck to Stanley and Mary Sepko in 1931. She and her husband, Stanley, were married in January 1953 at Our Lady of Ostrabama in Cutchogue.
She worked as a bookkeeper at the Bushwick Commission Co. in Jamesport, and later as a client service representative at Suffolk County National Bank. She was also a member of the Riverhead Swingers dance club.
Her family said she loved golf and taking her grandchildren and great-grandchildren to the beach.
In addition to her husband, Ms. Zaweski is survived by two children, Richard and his wife Patty of Centerport and John and his wife Tracy of Hampton Bays; and two sisters, Helen Price of Florida and Carol Musnicki of Bridgehampton. She is also survived by five grandchildren, David, Kathryn, Michael, Drew, and Laura; and two great-grandchildren, Emerson and Nolan.
She was predeceased by her brother, Stanley Sepko, and a son, David.
Visiting hours were held on Sunday, May 20, at the McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service was held on Monday, May 21, at St. Isidore Roman Catholic Church in Riverhead. Interment followed at St. John’s Cemetery.
