The popular Polar Bear Plunge to benefit Heart of the Hamptons will return to Coopers Beach on Saturday, December 9. The 2023 Plunge will mark the 20th anniversary of the event. The Retreat’s Adopt-a-Family program is open and ready for donations for the 2023 holiday season. The program collects holiday gifts and gift cards for families in need. This year, it will run through December 15. The Retreat established Adopt-a-Family nearly 20 years ago when its employees in advocacy recognized a need in their clients. They collected and distributed one gift each for their clients’ children, serving about 20 families in total.
