Christopher Anthony Brucia Of South Carolina Dies September 2

Christopher Anthony Brucia of North Charleston, South Carolina, died September 2. He was 51.

Mr. Brucia was born October 16, 1964, in West Islip, the son of Barbara Romanoski Brucia of Southampton and the late Anthony Francis Brucia. He was a mechanic and business owner of Allied Alternators & Starters, LLC. He loved listening to music and watching old movies and owned collectible cars, was an avid motorcyclist, and liked riding his dirt bike. He also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Ann Pittman Brucia; a daughter, Ashley Brucia; a son, Joe Brucia and wife Katrina; his mother, Barbara Brucia; a sister, Linda Brucia; a brother, Anthony Brucia and wife Melissa; and a nephew, Anthony James Brucia.

A funeral was held September 6 at the J. Henry Stuhr Northwoods Chapel in South Carolina.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was pulled over after being observed speeding and failing to maintain his lane on Montauk Highway, police said.
