Clara Eagan Zabriski Dies At 10

Clara Eagan Zabriski

Clara Eagan Zabriski of Jupiter, Florida, formerly of Southampton, died on Saturday, July 16.

Born July 9, 2001, to Bruce and Sarah Zabriski (née Marmion), she lived a wonderful and full 10 years. She loved playing with her friends in the neighborhood, doing Girl Scouts, lying on the big bed with her dog Stauch, and most of all being home with her family.

She was a fighter and she faced every challenge with courage. “She loved coming home and that was her inspiration and our peace,” family said.

In addition to her parents, Clara is survived by her brothers, Evan and Neal Zabriski; her grandmothers, Barbara Woodward and Patricia Marmion; her uncle Tierney and aunt Elizabeth, uncle Don and aunt Sheila, and her uncle Peter and aunt Margaret; and cousins, Norah, Maeve and Niamh, Conor, Clare, Liam, and Christopher.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Dr. Harry Marmion and Peter (Pat) Zabriski.

There will be a celebration of Clara’s life on Thursday, July 21, at JupiterFIRST Church in Florida.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Secret Shepherd Fund at JupiterFIRST Church, 1475 Indian Creek Parkway, Jupiter, FL, 33458.
