Bra Auction To Benefit Womens’ Cancer Charities Set for May 3

The 12th annual Reconstructed Bra Fashion Show and Auction will be held on Friday, May 3, at The Clubhouse in East Hampton. The New York Marine Rescue Center will hold its annual Oceans of Hope Gala on Friday, May 3, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Long Island Aquarium. This year’s honoree is John v.H. Halsey, president of the Peconic Land Trust. The New York Marine Rescue Center is a rescue and rehabilitation organization that promotes marine conservation. The Water Mill Museum invites anyone who may have met, known or interacted with Fred Benedict (1860-1952) of Water Mill to please share their memories with the museum. “Uncle Fred” was a beloved member of the local community, and “Uncle Fred’s Workshop” is preserved at the Water Mill Museum, just as he left it 72 years ago.
