On August 15, The Concerned Citizens of Montauk showed their concern for ecology with a combined outdoor and indoor event...a kids beach cleanup and an art project. The first task was to gather discarded plastic litter items from the ocean beach behind the CCOM office into a custom CCOM canvas bag, followed by a creative art project at a communal table in the office, where the items were reused to make imaginative jars for the participants to take home.
