The Good Ground Ukelele Group provided entertainment at the the Knights of Columbus of Hampton Bays/East Quogue annual Christmas party for the developmentally disabled on December 4 at St. Rosalie's parish center.
The Southampton Rotary Club was joined by its school-based associated clubs at Southampton School District on December 6 when food its purchased for Heart of the Hamptons was packed into boxes. In addition, Southampton Rotary Club made a monetary donation, combining for a total of $7,500. Chaired by Rotarian Robert Gill, the Food Drive Committee raised enough to pack 200 boxes of food, with help from members of the school clubs, to be distributed in the area this holiday season.

Unable to hold its the annual topiary decorating workshop for East End Hospice indoors at the Quogue Firehouse due to COVID guidelines, determined Westhampton Garden Club members created an alternative. Topiary Chair Barbara Sartorius and club President Mellissa Morgan Nelson, along with other members, organized a tailgate workshop outdoors in the firehouse parking lot. Masked members parked their cars in two rows with tailgates up to serve as “workshop” spaces to bedeck the topiaries with ribbons and holiday ornaments. The finished topiaries were distributed to hospice patients throughout the East End and at the Kanas Center for Hospice Care in Westhampton. “Through the topiary workshop and our year-round planting program at the Kanas Center, we are privileged to support the mission of East End Hospice,” noted WGC president Nelson.
The Hampton Bays Beautification presented Betty Sparta with its Community Appreciation Award.

Santa Claus made a special, one night only, guest appearance at the Thomas & Mary Nimmo Moran Studio on Main Street in East Hampton on Saturday evening. Marianne Della Croce, the East Hampton Historical Society's Director of Visitor Experience, invited everyone to "bring your Christmas list, take a photo with Santa, and enjoy the beauty and splendor which is the Moran Studio decorated for the holidays!"
