A Veterans Day tribute to local veterans and first responders took place at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center offering a multi-generational musical performance by the Warriors Rock band. As a grand finale, veterans and first responders were invited on stage while the band played "Proud to be an American." Ticket proceeds were donation to local VFW and American Legion posts. Odell Ferebee recently celebrated his 80th birthday at his Southampton home. At the gathering, he was presented with proclamations from the state and county, honoring his birthday milestone, as well as his service to the nation. He serviced two and a half tours, in Vietnam and Germany.
