Corrine L. Quinn of Hampton Bays died at the Kanas Center for Hospice Care on Quiogue on June 22. She was 91.
Ms. Quinn was raised in East Elmhurst, Queens, and graduated from Bishop McDonald High School in Brooklyn. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John (Jack) Quinn. They met in Hampton Bays, married in 1951 and enjoyed a loving marriage of 64 years. After raising her family and then working as an administrative assistant for JC Penney in Manhattan, Ms. Quinn retired to Hampton Bays from Beechhurst, Queens with Jack in 1995.
Ms. Quinn was a volunteer at the Birthright Thrift Shops for many years. She loved to travel, read and go to the theater. She was a longtime member of the East Rampasture Book Club. Ms. Quinn made lifelong friends wherever she went and leaves many beloved friends and neighbors.
She is survived by her children, Susan Tuths (Paul) of Southampton, Barbara Davidson (John) of Maine and John (Anne) of England; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; as well as her sister Ethel Geberth of Connecticut.
A funeral Mass was celebrated on June 26 at St. Rosalie Church in Hampton Bays with burial following at Good Ground Cemetery.
The family gratefully acknowledges the compassionate care given to Ms. Quinn by her caregiver Joan, Catholic Home Services, East End Hospice and the staff at the Kanas Center.
