Pierson Student Wins Mulvihill Scholarship

Pierson High School 2024 graduate Helena Aurora Kolhoff of Sag Harbor was recently awarded the William and Mary Mulvihill Environmental Scholarship. The award was presented to Kolhoff at the South Fork Natural History Museum’s annual gala last Saturday by Mary Ann Mulvihill-Decker, daughter of William and Mary. Kolhoff will be attending the University of Connecticut this fall, majoring in environmental engineering. The Quogue Association will hold its annual Rubber Duck Race on Friday, July 19. Rescue Wing To Hold STEM Camp

The 106th Rescue Wing will host its inaugural Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) camp in August. The four-day program for those in grades seven to 12 was created in partnership with the Department of Defense STEM program and is designed to inspire and educate students in both traditional and nontraditional STEM pathways.
