Daniel Delany of Hampton Bays died in his sleep on March 31, 2017. He was 68.
Born in Brooklyn on October 11, 1948, he was as an accountant at Roland’s Electric, an artist, a musician who played guitar and violin, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Ancient Order of Hibernians in Hampton Bays. While in high school at Patchogue-Medford, he was voted vice president of the Class of 1968.
Mr. Delaney is survived by his daughter, Amy Delaney; eight sisters, Pat Augugliaro, Catherine Wientzen, Dorothy Snyder, Susan North, Fran Frawley, Mary Delaney, Janine Dransfield, Elizabeth Godfrey and Maureen Ward; two brothers, Paul Delaney and Edward Delaney; 11 nieces and 12 nephews.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Robertaccio Funeral Home in Patchogue.
