I would like to apologize again for doubting that our supervisor and his three henchmen are doing their jobs. Thinking that they are not is unfathomable.

There must be underlying circumstances why the Bel-Aire Cove Motel is still here that the pols can’t tell us about. Some deep, dark secret. Maybe bodies are buried beneath the old motel, or dinosaur bones, or Native American artifacts, or maybe Jay Schneiderman’s family’s heirloom 1913 Model T, preserved in mud, that will rust if exposed to air.

I am certain that, given almost six more years, Bel-Aire will still be here enriching the weird love of blight that our four politicians have. Two thousand-plus local residents don’t like blight.

Hey, pols, please represent the populace.
