Dennis E. Albin Of Eastport Dies February 9

Dennis E. Albin, 57, of Eastport died on February 9.

Mr. Albin is survived by his parents, Melvin and Maureen Albin; a brother, Thomas Albin and wife Kathleen; sisters, Theresa Malone and husband Bill, Kathleen Sullivan and husband Greg; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on February 15 at Sinnickson’s Moriches Funeral Home. A prayer service was conducted by clergy from St. John’s Roman Catholic Church at the funeral home on Saturday night. Interment of ashes to be held on February 18 at Eastport Cemetery.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was pulled over after being observed speeding and failing to maintain his lane on Montauk Highway, police said.
