Devereaux Carson of Croton-on-Hudson died September 9, 2019, of at Island Nursing and Rehabilitation in Holtsville, where she had resided for 14 years. She was 69.

A model and actress in her younger years, she was representing by the Ford Modeling Agency and Lord & Taylor department store had used her face as the inspiration for a mannequin that was in the window of its Fifth Avenue store.

Predeceased by her mother, Mary Joan Carson of New York City, and her father, William Morris Carson of Kentucky, and a sister, Brooke Carson of New York City. She is survived by a brother, Ian Carson of Hampton Bays.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Robertaccio Funeral Home in Patchogue. A memorial service is being planned for the fall.
