Don McKay Of Water Mill Dies June 19

Don McKay died at his home on June 19, surrounded by friends and family. He was 92.

A longtime resident of Water Mill and Southampton, he was born on January 19, 1923, and was a World War II P47 fighter pilot, a proud American and patriot, survivors said.

He is survived by two sons, Scott and Bruce McKay, their wives, and his grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 18, at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Southampton.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was pulled over after being observed speeding and failing to maintain his lane on Montauk Highway, police said.
