Donald P. Zlatniski Of Center Moriches Dies December 21

Donald P. Zlatniski of Center Moriches, formerly of Aquebogue, died on December 21 in Center Moriches. He was 55.

Born in Riverhead on March 1, 1960, he graduated from Mercy High School in 1978. He worked as an officer with the Village of West Hampton Dunes Police Constabulary and was formerly a dispatcher with the Riverhead Police Department. Survivors said he enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida.

Mr. Zlatniski is survived by his parents, John and Irene Zlatniski; a sister, Judith Brady of Dix Hills; brother, David and wife Donna of Center Moriches; nieces, Grace Brady and Danielle Zlatniski; and nephews, John Brady and David Zlatniski.

Visiting is set for Sunday, December 27, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 28, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Isidore’s Church in Riverhead.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org.
