Don't Forget Me

Hi, my name is Pyrrhus Concer. I was born right here in Cooper Hall on March 17, 1814. I was taken away from my mom at 5 years old and sold to the Pelletreau family for $25, and sometimes they lent me out to others in the village to work on their farm.

But I have an amazing story to tell. I owned property here in the village, and I became somewhat of a international hero known here in the village, and also an entrepreneur and philanthropist, and may I humbly say I was “most highly respected” here in the village.

Stay tuned — I will share more.
