Dorothy A. Braun Of Flanders Dies July 7

Dorothy A. Braun of Flanders, formerly of Pasadena, Maryland, died at the Peconic Bay Medical Center on July 7. She was 68.

While a resident of Maryland, she worked as a secretary for the Maryland State Police in Glenburnie.

She is survived by her sons, Steve J. Skovron and wife Jennifer of Lindenhurst, and John E. Skovron and wife Kelly of Maryland. She is also survived by a brother, George Braun and wife Laura of Connecticut; and four grandsons, Dillon, Matthew, Jackson and Nicholas Skovron.

A memorial service was held at the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home on Saturday, August 10; the Reverend George Mangan of Center Moriches United Methodist Church officiated.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was pulled over after being observed speeding and failing to maintain his lane on Montauk Highway, police said.
