Dorothy Clark Of Southampton Dies October 16

Dorothy Clark of Southampton died October 16 at the Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Southampton. She was 81.

Her life of service was spent joyfully for 44 years at the Great Neck Library, where she spent many hours helping children and adults in the world of books, survivors said. In recent years she was a full-time resident of Southampton and enjoyed beach walks with her husband and dog.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert A Clark Jr.; a brother, Andrew Irvine of Southampton; and nieces, Karin Jeffery and Tina Thor.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to noon at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton. Interment will follow at the Southampton Cemetery.

Our Sag Harbor park tennis courts are under siege. There are eight clay courts and two hard courts.
