Dr. Gene Parker of Southampton Dies September 9

Dr. Gene Parker of Southampton died on September 9 on Quiogue. He was 64.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Brockett Funeral Home in Southampton. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 13, at 10:30 a.m. at the Basilica Parish of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in Southampton. Interment to follow at Sacred Hearts Cemetery.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was pulled over after being observed speeding and failing to maintain his lane on Montauk Highway, police said.
